John and Connie Nicholas have been in music ministry for more than thirty years, playing in a wide variety of settings; from formal concerts to worship services, coffee house background music, and private groups. Their desire is to go wherever God sends them for His purpose. They love blending sounds and styles to create unique and interesting music on their various instruments.
John has worked as a manufacturing engineer and woodworker and is responding to God’s call in writing songs and ministering through music. Connie has worked as an office manager using her organizational and accounting skills and was a certified Lay Speaker. They are happily married with four grown children and last lived in Weldon, a small town in central Illinois between Bloomington and Decatur. They now travel full-time in their 41′ fifth wheel RV using their talents in volunteer work through a ministry called SOWERs (Servants On Wheels Ever Ready) and sharing their music ministry wherever they are. Learn more about SOWERs.

Part of their ministry is sharing their faith story, how God works in their lives as they go through the trials and triumphs that come with everyday living. They have always been anchored in their local church having been a part of establishing the Handyman and Parish Nurse/Health Cabinet Ministries as well as serving on various committees, completing Disciple Studies, and participating in communion & visitation for shut-ins. They have also led music for Lay Witness Missions, a group of weekend missionaries to local churches.
