said, "You are the salt of the earth, and light to the world."
"In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus instructs us to be salt and
light to those around us. It is our desire to provide music
and ministry full-time wherever God may lead, becoming salt, light,
and inspiration through our numerous instruments and various styles
of music. We feel God has guided us in choosing 'Salty
Strings' as our name - a combination of the Scripture
above and the many strings of our instruments."
and Connie Nicholas ~ "Salty Strings"
Part of their ministry is
sharing their faith story, how
God works in their lives as they go through the trials and triumphs
that come with everyday living. They have a unique humor that
endears them to audiences and a down-to-earth manner that makes
people instantly comfortable around them.
